Laura is an experienced digital strategist who served as as the former Director of Online Engagement in the Obama White House Office of Digital Strategy.
Previously, she worked at the Department of Labor under Secretary Tom Perez, where she led national campaigns to promote critical workplace issues including paid leave, equal pay, and the future of work. Prior to entering government, she worked at Edelman Public Relations running online grassroots campaigns, and also for the 2012 Obama for America reelection campaign as a digital programs manager helping to lead key fundraising projects like “Dinner with Barack.”
Laura is an Illinois native and currently resides in Washington, DC where she works with many of her former Obama colleagues as a senior director at Civic Advisors, a social impact strategy firm.
