Beverly is a digital and social marketing pioneer with a passion for social business, digital strategy and is often honored as a Digital Innovator. She is a regular speaker on the world stage offering key learning’s on issues related to how brands successfully leverage and scale social, the challenges of creating compelling content across platforms and identifying the metrics and insights for successfully measuring the impact of social media marketing.
She is currently the VP of Social Media Marketing and Content Strategy for MGM Resorts International, where she is building a Social Media Center of Excellence to leverage the extensive assets of the greatest entertainment and hospitality brand in the world. The MGM Resorts International brand includes best of class resorts such as Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay. Previously she led the global social marketing effort for Yahoo, Inc., and created an award winning social media program for the Recording Academy/GRAMMY Awards.
For more than 20 years, Beverly has worked as digital marketer in leadership roles at some of the largest agencies, media companies and startups including IPG, WPP and Tribune Interactive Media where she built innovative content and revenue generating programs. She has a master’s degree from Baruch College in NY and a BS from Howard University in Washington, DC.
